We're hiring a Principal Engineer in Santa Clara, CA. Join our innovative team and be involved in groundbreaking projects. Collaborate with industry experts and contribute to world-class technology solutions, delivering innovative experiences for our employees and developers at NVIDIA.

What you'll be doing:

  • Technology Leadership: Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-level IT systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and flawless user experience.

  • System Integration: Lead the integration of diverse IT systems and platforms, ensuring seamless functionality and minimal disruption during transitions.

  • Innovation and Optimization: Continuously evaluate new technologies and standard methodologies to find opportunities for innovation and optimization within the IT infrastructure.

  • Collaboration and Partnership: Nurture positive relationships with teams across different functions, including product and engineering, to ensure IT solutions adapt to evolving requirements.

  • Focused Execution: Successfully implement groundbreaking company-wide IT initiatives at a large scale, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.

  • Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve complex IT issues, providing effective solutions to maintain system integrity and performance.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 15+ Years of Experience: in IT engineering roles, with a proven track record of successful system implementations and optimizations.

  • Deep Technical Expertise: in cloud computing, SaaS applications, integration platforms, data analytics, and AI/ML technologies.

  • Strong Business Insight: Understanding of business processes and workflows, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective IT solutions.

  • Outstanding Leadership Skills: Ability to encourage and motivate teams, build consensus, and lead change across the organization.

  • Effective Communication and Interpersonal Abilities: Capable of conveying information to individuals with varying technical expertise, including senior leaders.

  • Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Capacity to think critically, solve intricate problems, and make decisions based on data.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience with Agile Methodologies.

  • Background in the Technology or Engineering Industry

  • Experience with large scale on-prem to cloud migrations for large scale enterprise applications like Atlassian and Artifactory

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 248,000 USD - 391,000 USD.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
