Job Summary:

The Principal Engineer, DC Power is a position centered around developing innovative power distribution solutions for data center environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing efficient, reliable, and scalable DC power systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop DC power distribution architectures
  • Translate complex customer specifications into clear technical requirements and project objectives

  • Expert knowledge of DC power distribution systems and architectures
  • Strong understanding of power electronics and conversion technologies
  • Familiarity with industry standards (IEEE, NFPA, UL, NEC)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project management and communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with power management systems and monitoring tools
  • Experience with renewable energy integration
  • Knowledge of energy storage systems
  • Familiarity with thermal management considerations

The successful candidate will join a dynamic team focused on developing next-generation power solutions for data center infrastructure while maintaining high standards of reliability and efficiency.

Travel Requirements:

  • 10% including internationally
