Reporting to the Associate Director, Customer Technical Support based in the USA, you will assist engine centers and component repair shops with the overhaul and repair of commercial engines. Based at Eagle Services Asia (ESA) located at 51 Calshot Road Singapore, this position will involve regional support for Customer Technical Engineering (CTS) needs in the APAC region, including generating technical data changes and providing daily assistance in data interpretation, escalation, and resolution. Flexibility for deployments locally and overseas to support regional Airline Customers will also be required as part of this exciting opportunity.

What You Will Do

• Drive engineering resolution and turnaround time reduction efforts to meet the engine shop’s need date.

• Identify engineering inquiries from MRO shops where the confidence level was incorrectly predicated and conduct after action reviews on reason.

• Assist in Controlled Builds and engine investigations at various engine centers.

• Provide clarification on technical publication questions to reduce the need for an engineering inquiry.

• Address crucial Fits and Clearence engineering inquiries within region minimizing work stop impact.

• Address engineering inquiries during engine assembly, Test, and Post test for accurate technical content and work with East Hartford CT USA engineering to expedite resolution.

• Organize trainings or tech data exchanges between USA Engineering groups and engine centers.

• Support and assist in the translation engine manuals to the regional languages.

• Monitor key performance indicators related to engine center support and address to help correct any negative conditions.

• Review past engineering inquiries to help support confidence level risk accuracy.

• Occasional international travel will be required 10-20%.

• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent qualifications.

• Min 8 years’ relevant experience in Aerospace Aftermarket and/or similar MRO businesses with strong technical knowledge of commercial gas turbine engines.

• Good engineering aptitude and ability to grasp concepts and learn independently.

• Good communication skills including executive level written and oral presentation proficiency.

• Demonstrated business judgment, presentation, results driven, adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated experience with Project Management processes, tools, and techniques.

• Knowledge and application of CORE and/or similar continuous improvement operating systems.
