Job Description:
As a Principal Engineer at Perry AI, you will lead the technical development of a category-defining platform that automates complex legal workflows for global VC funds. You will own the full stack, from architecting AI document pipelines to shipping production-ready React components, directly impacting how leading investors close deals and manage risk.

What you will do:

  • Integrate and optimize LLM workflows to automate complex legal busywork, turning messy inbound emails and documents into structured, actionable data.

The ideal candidate:

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a mastery of TypeScript, Node.js, and modern React patterns.

  • Proven track record of building and scaling production-grade APIs and handling complex data schemas using MongoDB and Express.js.

  • Strong product intuition and a "ship-first" mindset, comfortable navigating the ambiguity of an early-stage startup to deliver user-centric solutions.
