The role will 🏗️ Lead the CE&I delivery team and provide the interface with other disciplines. Experience of the following is preferred:
🔍 Site Surveys of electrical assets.
📐 Design of services.
⚙️ Plant/Site modification (design and implementation).
📄 Support the production of engineering documentation and drawings, including but not limited to:
📝 Site Survey Reports
⚡ Single Line Diagrams (including protection diagrams)
🛤️ Cable Routing
🔌 Block Cable Diagrams
⚠️ CDM Risk Assessments
📊 Cable Calculations & Cable Cards
🏗️ Outline Installation Method Statements
🖥️ CAE, input to optioneering, etc.
🏢 BIM input where required.
📋 Support to Single Discipline Design Review & Production of Minutes of Meetings.
📋 Support to Multi-Discipline Design Review & Production of Minutes of Meetings.
🛠️ Can produce and maintain key deliverable documents, reports, calculations, schedules, drawings, etc., to programme and appropriate quality.
🔗 Can liaise and coordinate with other design disciplines and plant engineering in the preliminary/detail design process.
🎓 Experience and ability to guide younger/less experienced engineers.
👥 Experience in managing a team of EC&I design staff.
✅ Experience in checking design deliverables.
📊 Familiarity in using typical project metrics to evaluate and report design progress.
🗣️ Can support the EC&I design team in meetings and reviews.
🖥️ Is conversant with existing CAE tools (e.g. AutoCAD, AVEVA E&I, PDMS, Trimble MET - cable calculation software).
⚡ Must have significant demonstrable experience in CE&I Project Delivery.
🏢 Experience in the design delivery of building electrical services.
⚖️ Competent in the application of CDM Regulation.
📜 Competent in the application of IET wiring Regulations.
🔌 Experience in space management, cable routing, and cable management.
🤝 Ability to work as part of an integrated delivery team and individually, even within restrictive time constraints.
✨ Desirable Experience:
🖊️ Experience in the use of AutoCAD.
🔧 Experience in the use of AVEVA Electrical or similar CE&I design packages.
