We are actively seeking a Principal Domain Architect, Salesforce Platform. This is a remote position and can be based anywhere is the U.S. The role may require periodic travel as necessary across the world.

Position Summary 

As part of our Rimini Consult group, the Principal Domain Architect, Salesforce Platform, will be responsible for designing and delivering customized solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients. You will work closely with clients, sales teams, and internal technical teams to understand client requirements, propose tailored solutions, and ensure successful implementation.

The role also encompasses providing thought leadership around functional strategy, including overseeing complex project implementations, Product Roadmap Analyses, reviewing and analyzing current system functionality, and have demonstrated a strong ability to analyze and provide guidance to support strategic objectives. He/she will demonstrate professional written and oral communication skills, deep analytical skills, deep functional expertise, solution orientation, strategic thinking, the ability to establish rapport at all levels within the organization, and the ability to drive consensus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex Salesforce solutions and integrations for global enterprises, leveraging Salesforce clouds, Lightning, and MuleSoft
• Collaborate with pre-sales and delivery teams to understand customer requirements and propose innovative solutions using Salesforce platforms and emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, etc.
• Develop Proof of Concepts and Prototypes to demonstrate proposed solutions to customers
• Define and evolve the overall enterprise architecture standards for Salesforce and integrations across projects
• Work with delivery teams to ensure designs are implemented per architecture guidelines and best practices
• Conduct code reviews and monitor technical quality across Salesforce development initiatives
• Mentor and guide junior technical resources on Salesforce architecture and best practices

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, preferably in Computer Sciences and/or Information Technology or related field (Master’s Degree preferred)

Location

• This is a remote position and can be based anywhere in the US.

Desired Experience

• 10+ years of experience designing and building solutions on Salesforce including Lightning and MuleSoft
• Experience implementing AI/ML solutions on Salesforce Einstein Platform
• Experience with integration technologies like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Apache Camel etc.
• Experience defining and governing enterprise architecture standards and guidelines
• Experience leading complex technical initiatives and mentoring delivery teams
• Past experience working in a global professional services environment preferred

Desired Skills

• Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce architecture, Lightning Framework, Apex, Visualforce, APIs etc.
• Working experience with MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform for integration
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and hands-on experience with Einstein Platform
• Understanding of integration patterns, enterprise architecture principles and API-led connectivity
• Coding expertise in Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Python or other web technologies
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills

Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.

The general salary range for this type of role is 150k - 188k depending on skills and experience.
