As a global leader in cybersecurity, CrowdStrike protects the people, processes and technologies that drive modern organizations. Since 2011, our mission hasn’t changed — we’re here to stop breaches, and we’ve redefined modern security with the world’s most advanced AI-native platform. Our customers span all industries, and they count on CrowdStrike to keep their businesses running, their communities safe and their lives moving forward. We’re also a mission-driven company. We cultivate a culture that gives every CrowdStriker both the flexibility and autonomy to own their careers. We’re always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.

About the Role:

As Principal/Director - Digital Workplace Services, you will shape the end-to-end employee experience-from zero-touch provisioning and device lifecycle to virtualization, automation, and digital experience analytics so everyone can work securely and productively from anywhere. You’ll balance tight budgets with smart automation and up-skilling, replace SLA-only views with experience-level agreements (XLAs), and lead a high-performing organization.

The Principal/Director will own the global strategy and execution for Digital Workplace across: Endpoint engineering (Windows/macOS/Linux & mobile), device lifecycle & depot operations, virtualization (VDI/DaaS/App Virtualization), self-service & knowledge, and DEX/DEM telemetry. You'll drive outcome-based sourcing with the right partners, embed privacy/security by design, and publish clear OKRs, metrics, and quarterly business reviews.

What You’ll Do:

Strategy & Leadership:

  • Define a 3-year Digital Workplace strategy and annual operating plan with OKRs tied to business outcomes.

  • Establish persona-based journeys (e.g., VIP, field/warehouse, creators/engineers, contact center) and align devices, apps, and policies accordingly.

  • Launch a Center of Excellence to up-skill engineers (automation, scripting, DEX tooling) and cultivate a high-trust culture.

Employee Experience, Self-Service & Adoption:

  • Shift from reactive support events to proactive experience management using DEX/DEM telemetry, sentiment, and XLA scorecards; publish actionable experience reports.

  • Operate a scalable self-service and automation platform (catalog, guided workflows, bots, self-healing) that reduces downtime and time-to-productivity.

  • Deploy smart lockers/kiosks and zero-touch device swaps to minimize employee friction and time away from work.

Engineering, Automation & Release Quality:

  • Implement Everything-as-Code for provisioning, configuration, packaging, patching, and policy with CI/CD pipelines, pre/post health gates, canaries/ringed rollouts, and rehearsed rollbacks.

  • Drive autonomous remediation/self-healing to lower MTTR and increase device stability (crash-free rate, logon time, app reliability).

  • Govern safe changes via CAB, change-collision management, and auditable release controls.

VDI/DaaS:

  • Align VDI/DaaS/app virtualization to the right personas and cost/performance guardrails; instrument capacity, latency, and adoption metrics.

Device Lifecycle & Depot:

  • Lead end-to-end lifecycle (procure → provision → retire) with zero-touch builds, sustainable asset management, and circularity programs.

  • Run depot operations for rapid swap/repair and remote fulfillment integrated with lockers/kiosks and logistics SLAs.

Sourcing, Vendor & Financial Management:

  • Curate a partner ecosystem (device lifecycle/PCaaS, DEX/DEM, collaboration/UC, virtualization, lockers/kiosks) with co-creation and outcome/XLA-based agreements.

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and business cases; track unit costs and ROI from automation and tooling; lead transitions and QBRs.

Security, Privacy & Compliance:

  • Embed privacy by design and device/data protections; align with ISO/SOC/GDPR; maintain auditable access and configuration controls.

  • Ensure accessibility and sustainability are first-class requirements across services and devices.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience as a visionary operator who turns complex ecosystems (endpoint, virtualization, device lifecycle) into intuitive, measurable experiences.

  • Depth in modern endpoint management, VDI/DaaS, self-service design & automation, and DEX/DEM.

  • Mastery of persona journey mapping, XLA scorecards, and executive storytelling with data.

  • Being a builder of high-trust teams; a crisp communicator across executives, engineering, and partners.

  • 12+ years in Digital Workplace / End-User Computing / IT Ops, including 8+ years leading global teams or programs.

  • Proven delivery of automation/self-healing at scale with measurable improvements in MTTR, device stability, and time-to-productivity.

  • Track record implementing DEX/DEM and XLA programs; running change/release governance with health gates and safe rollback.

  • Budget ownership and vendor portfolio management with outcome-based contracts across regions.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in multi-region enterprises (10k+ employees).

  • Strong technical background with engineering principles applied to user experience design-bridging system reliability, automation, and intuitive employee experiences.

  • Background in OCM, accessibility, sustainability/circular device lifecycle, and workspace/systems design.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (advanced degree a plus).
