Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Offshore Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in offshore structural and piping design, with hands-on experience using industry-standard software such as S3D, E3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation. This role involves working on complex offshore projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring design accuracy and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and modify 3D models and 2D drawings for offshore structures and piping systems.
• Interpret engineering specifications, P&IDs, and layout drawings.
• Coordinate with structural, piping, and mechanical teams to ensure design integration.
• Perform clash detection and resolve interface issues using S3D/E3D.
• Generate fabrication and construction drawings with high accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input.
• Maintain documentation and revision control throughout the design lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 to 20 years of relevant experience in offshore design projects.
• Proficient in S3D (Smart 3D) and/or E3D (AVEVA Everything3D).
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Familiarity with offshore codes and standards (e.g., API, DNV, ISO).
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in FPSO, platform Top Side, Jacket or subsea projects.
• Knowledge of PDMS or other 3D design tools is a plus.
• Exposure to fabrication yard or offshore construction environments.
