At F5, we strive to bring a better digital world to life. Our teams empower organizations across the globe to create, secure, and run applications that enhance how we experience our evolving digital world. We are passionate about cybersecurity, from protecting consumers from fraud to enabling companies to focus on innovation.

Everything we do centers around people. That means we obsess over how to make the lives of our customers, and their customers, better. And it means we prioritize a diverse F5 community where each individual can thrive.

This role partners closely with the Global Strategic Pursuits (GSP) leader to help build and scale the commercial “engine room” that supports F5’s most strategic and impactful deals. Serving as a highly analytical partner to the GSP leader, this individual will own key components of complex modeling, deal support, and insight development, while also helping build durable tools, templates, and processes that improve the speed and quality of commercial decision-making.

The role combines deep analytical execution with cross-functional partnership. This person will work directly with sellers and internal stakeholders to translate commercial concepts, deal requirements, and data inputs into clear, logical, and defensible TCO/ROI analyses for both internal and external audiences. In addition to supporting quarterly deal flow, this role will be expected to improve the scalability and maintainability of our modeling tools and convert strategic deal activity into repeatable playbooks, benchmarks, and decision frameworks.

We are looking for exceptional candidates with the following attributes:

  • Analyzer: Detail-oriented and intellectually curious, with a strong instinct to understand the “why” and “how” behind business questions, assumptions, and outcomes.
  • Builder: Designs and improves financial models, tools, and frameworks with an appropriate balance of rigor, speed, and practicality.
  • Collaborator: Operates as a consultative partner across Sales, Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Operations to solve complex commercial problems.
  • Communicator: Distills complexity into clear insights, recommendations, and narratives tailored to different audiences.
  • Confident Realist: Produces high-quality outputs with confidence, while remaining transparent about assumptions, tradeoffs, and model limitations.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and follow-through

  • Advanced Excel modeling capabilities, including model structuring, scenario analysis, and output design

  • Strong judgment in creating executive-ready materials, with a high degree of PowerPoint proficiency

  • Experience in sales, sales operations, deal management, pricing, finance, or related commercial support roles

  • Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly and defend logic with internal stakeholders

  • Customer-facing presentation experience, or a comparable background delivering consulting-style analyses and recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL, Python, BI tools, or related analytical capabilities to accelerate ad hoc analysis and model development

  • Exposure to model governance, version control, or QA disciplines in a business or commercial setting
