About the Team:

Key contributor to Enterprise Data Modeling team:

Leading enterprise-wide data modeling initiatives that align data architecture with business strategy and organizational goals.

Establishing and enforcing data modeling standards, governance frameworks, and best practices to improve data quality, consistency, and trust across the enterprise.

Providing architectural leadership for integrating diverse data sources, modern platforms, and emerging technologies while ensuring scalable and future-ready solutions.

• Building of Cloud Data Platform in the enterprise
• Ensuring efficient data models are built following both dimensional and data vault data modeling techniques
• Driving consistent adoption and enforcement of modern data model patterns

Key Deliverables

Enterprise Data Modeling Strategy

• Develop and implement enterprise-wide data modeling strategies.
• Lead the design of complex, cross-functional data models.
• Drive the adoption of advanced modeling techniques (e.g., Data Vault 2.0).
• Align data modeling practices with business goals and technology roadmaps

Data Architecture Leadership

• Provide thought leadership in data architecture and modeling
• Collaborate with enterprise architects to define data architecture principles.
• Lead the evaluation and implementation of emerging data technologies.
• Develop strategies for integrating diverse data sources and platforms

Data Governance and Standardization

• Define and enforce enterprise-wide data modeling standards.
• Lead data governance initiatives related to data modeling and metadata management.
• Develop strategies for maintaining data quality across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data privacy laws

Mentorship and Knowledge Leadership

• Mentor data modeling teams and develop talent within the organization.
• Lead advanced training sessions and workshops on data modeling best practices

• Contribute to the data modeling community through publications or speaking engagements

Stakeholder Management and Consulting

• Advise senior leadership on data modeling strategies and their business impact.

Functional Skills:

• Strong capability to establish data standards, governance frameworks, metadata management practices, and data quality controls across the enterprise

Technical Skills:

• 14+ years of experience in enterprise data modeling, data architecture, data governance, and information management
• Deep expertise with:
  • Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modeling
  • Enterprise Information Architecture
  • Data Warehouse and Lakehouse Modeling
  • Canonical and Domain Data Models
• Strong experience with Data Vault 2.0, Dimensional Modeling, Semantic Data Modeling and Master Data Management (MDM)
• Proven track record of:
  • Designing enterprise-wide data models across multiple business domains
  • Leading data architecture and data modernization initiatives
  • Establishing enterprise data standards, governance frameworks, and modeling best practices
  • Driving data architecture decisions supporting analytics, AI, and digital transformation

• Hands-on expertise with data modeling tools such as ERwin Data Modeler
• Strong experience with modern data platforms AWS and Snowflake
• Experience with:
  • Metadata Management and Data Lineage
  • Data Catalog and Governance Platforms
  • Data Quality Frameworks
  • Data Privacy and Regulatory Compliance

• Hands-on knowledge of governance tools such as Collibra
• Experience working with globally distributed teams and collaborating across business, architecture, engineering, analytics, and governance organizations.
• Strong experience with SQL and database design
• Preferred experience in Banking Industry
