Summary:
In this role, you will develop relationships with new Vizient Data & Digital business prospects and recruit new clients representing significant size and revenue. You will upsell existing D&D clients as identified by Account Management team. You will convey the value of Vizient’s D&D portfolio within specified market, geographic territory or account base. This role will work collaboratively with colleagues and Vizient partners (including Enterprise leads and internal sales support) to close new business and effectively transition new clients to Operations, Account Management and Service Delivery teams.
Responsibilities:

Lead business development and up-selling efforts for Vizient’s Data and Digital Domain in most complex members and assigned existing and net new members.

Establish credibility with member leadership (up to and including C-Suite) at both targeted meetings and industry events.

Develop a strong understanding of how different solutions within their portfolio work together and can communicate how these offerings can inform Vizient services to meet the member’s critical business issue.

Network with key leaders across the customer organization, leveraging deep knowledge of individual personalities, priorities and preferences to introduce other colleagues and expand relationships.

Utilize expert knowledge of company’s industry and competitive market to act as an innovator and thought leader to create effective solutions for customer.

Develop, lead and manage, standard sales operational components including but not limited to forecasting, sales pipeline tracking, CRM management, contract review, budgeting and assisting proposal development team with RFPs/RFIs and proposal creation.

Inform pricing and product teams with pricing and packaging recommendations aimed at maximizing additional revenue and price discipline.

Develop strategies to bring new technologies, applications and process changes to life.

Challenge the organization in innovating and designing new solutions, methods, and products to remain competitive and lead the industry.

Facilitate and ensures timely delivery of contracting and implementation.

Develop robust pipelines to achieve sales plans while generating additional existing client add-on sales of analytic tools and D&D (managed) Services.
Qualifications:

Relevant degree preferred, advanced degree a plus

10 or more years of relevant experience required.

Strong knowledge of the health care industry required.

Experience in health care IT digital /data sales or healthcare consulting highly preferred.

Experience working with and developing C-suite and key stakeholder relationships preferred.

Expertise in developing and executing sales strategies and tracking their success.

Demonstrate successful strategic sales account planning skills.

Experience with strategic, analytical, and solutions-oriented problem solving preferred.

Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $156,500.00 to $273,700.00.
