The PositionThe Principal Data Advisory & Insights Specialist leads complex advisory engagements, providing expert data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to senior business leaders, with a primary focus on data platform cost transparency, unit economics, and platform usage optimization.
This role requires deep analytical expertise, a strong understanding of business strategy, and exceptional communication skills to identify high-impact opportunities, design sophisticated analytical approaches, and influence decision-making at an organizational level. In this role, you will mentor junior specialists, drive the adoption of advanced analytical techniques, and be instrumental in shaping the advisory practice's methodologies and offerings.
Job Responsibilities
Scope / (Content Leadership): Oversees multiple analysis projects and guides other specialists. Innovates and leads high-impact data advisory initiatives, specifically driving cost transparency frameworks across all data platform offerings.

Qualifications
Education / Experience

Proven track record of working closely with senior leadership to influence high-level business strategy, with expertise in data platform analytics, cost allocation, unit cost modeling, or FinOps.
Demonstrated experience in overseeing multiple analysis projects and guiding/mentoring junior team members.
Technical Skills
Strong capability to integrate disparate data sources, such as cloud platform telemetry, usage logs, billing APIs, and metadata catalogs. Solid data product knowledge across modern data platform offerings and architecture.
