Northrop Grumman's Sensing & Secure Solutions Operating Unit is actively seeking a talented SW Test Engineer expert to join a Northrop Grumman primed program. This position's work location is in Annapolis Junction Maryland and is part of the Mission Systems Sector within Northrop Grumman.

We are looking for you to join our team as a Sr Principal Cyber Software Test Engineer based out of Annapolis Junction, MD.

What You'll Get to Do:

Designs, develops, documents executes SW test applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or SW engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines test processes and scenarios based on requirements, develops automated tests, and executes SW testing.

Basic Qualifications

•    An active TS/SCI Polygraph Clearance through the MD customer, with latest update less than 10 years old.
•    BS + 5 years of exp; MS + 3 years of exp: PhD + 1 years of exp is required. Four years experience can be substituted for BS degree.
•    Experience writing Python scripts.

•   Experience with GitLab.

•   Experience with TestLink.

•   Ability to take requirements and develop test completion criteria to verify end-to-end requirements, perform exploratory test cases, design and develop test cases, track and manage defects, execute regression testing and system testing to verify overall requirements.
•    Experience working System Test, SW Development and/or Systems Engineering
•    Familiarity with CI/CD principles.
•    Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems & Virtual Machines (VMs).
•    Expert level understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile development methodology.

Must be able to obtain customer approval.

Preferred Qualifications

•    Experience with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Git, Confluence).
•    Experience using software test automation tools/frameworks (Selenium).
•    Experience with Java, C++, or Python.
•    Experience using UI automation software (Selenium).

This position is contingent upon the required security clearance.

Salary Range: $121,400.00 - $182,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
