Zoom is looking for a highly strategic and experienced Principal Corporate Development Manager to drive our company’s growth initiatives through acquisitions and strategic investments. This role requires deep corporate development expertise to identify, evaluate, and execute transactions in the enterprise SaaS and AI space, that align with the company’s strategic goals and product vision.

About the Team

The Corporate Development team is part of the larger Corporate Strategy organization within Zoom. You will join a talented and diverse team driving Zoom’s corporate strategy, corporate development, venture investments, and strategic business development. The team identifies and executes on the company’s most critical business initiatives with an ownership mindset, quantitative rigor and a culture of collaboration. We operate at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and product innovation, focusing on high-impact opportunities that enhance our market position and growth trajectory.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying acquisition and investment targets by analyzing market trends and emerging technologies to address strategic business objectives
  • Leading end-to-end M&A and investment processes, including target evaluation, due diligence, investment thesis & memos, deal structuring, negotiation, and integration planning.
  • Developing comprehensive financial models to assess potential transactions, including performing discounted cash flow analysis, evaluating accretion/dilution effects on earnings, and conducting comparable company analysis.
  • Crafting clear narratives and decision packets that drive alignment on strategy, deal rationale, and capital allocation.
  • Developing detailed post-acquisition integration plans focused on aligning product roadmaps, strengthening go-to-market motions, and delivering a seamless customer experience.

What we’re looking for

  • Bring 12+ years of experience in corporate development, M&A, investment banking, venture capital, or private equity within the technology sector; OR 8+ years of relevant experience in these areas with MBA or equivalent Master’s degree
  • Demonstrate proven track record leading acquisitions over $100M enterprise value from sourcing through integration
  • Execute M&A deals including financial modeling, due diligence, and negotiations
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to synthesize data from multiple sources and drive high-impact decisions
  • Use customer, market, and competitive data to create business strategy and connect it with inorganic growth initiatives
  • Communicate and influence at senior levels to drive executive buy-in and alignment
  • Hold Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, business, statistics, economics, or equivalent practical experience

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$126,500.00

Maximum:

$276,700.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations

Skills Required
