Principal Coordinator, Operations Production (Hybrid)
As an Operations Production Principal Coordinator for the Levies & Garnishments team, you will work to deliver flawless execution when processing legal orders and ensure the department meets business service levels by driving the team towards productivity and quality metrics. Associates in this position will be responsible for supporting the team with escalated concerns, answering questions and resolving issues. The role requires attention to detail, judgement, problem solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally within the team and externally (other Capital One departments, customers, and outside agencies). Successful candidates will show up as a leader and be able to adapt in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Self-manage workflow and problem solve independently to ensure service level agreement is met daily
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert at legal processes and procedures
  • Process bank levies, garnishments and restraints (start to finish)
  • Ensure accuracy and highest quality assurance standards
  • Coordinates daily workflow of the department and directs work of others including reporting needs
  • Supports processing of outbound checks and responding to escalated mailbox
  • Communicates with managers and associates to drive associate productivity and engagement to increase department morale
  • Business needs require flexibility in scheduling and a high degree of professionalism and integrity with associates at all levels and external contacts
  • Regularly mentors and develops peers

Department Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 4:30pm EST
Location: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to spend 3 days per week working in office and the remainder of the week working virtually.
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 3 years Customer Service or Call Center experience
  • At least 2 years experience working in the Financial Industry
  • At least 1 year experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of Customer Service or Call Center experience
  • At least 1 year of experience reviewing legal documents

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Richmond, VA: $56,800 - $64,800 for Principal Ops Prod Coor
Wilmington, DE: $56,800 - $64,800 for Principal Ops Prod Coor
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
