Position Overview

At Autodesk, we’re not just shaping tools—we’re shaping the future of how ideas come to life. Our platform content designers create the clarity that’s fundamental to every product launch. We understand how words and language define the entire customer experience—from command-line to in-product and beyond. Autodesk’s platform teams design APIs, services, and infrastructure that our customers and developers use to extend the capabilities of Autodesk’s design and make software. Our platform helps other teams and companies reimagine new possibilities based on our 3D modeling, visualization, and data insights software to bring exceptional experiences to architecture, construction, manufacturing, and film and visual effects.

As a Principal Content Designer, you’ll join us on our mission to build the most lovable API products in our platform ecosystem by engaging directly with product, design, and engineering teams to craft and ship content experiences that drive rapid comprehension and high adoption. You’ll be a part of an exceptional team of content designers who shape and refine each other’s work, ensuring that every content piece is accurate, cohesive, and aligned with our broader goals.
