The Principal Consultant will provide technical leadership across IAM engagements, serving as a trusted advisor to clients and mentoring consulting teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading large-scale Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) implementations using SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) and Identity Security Cloud (ISC). Strong consulting, stakeholder management, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to lead multiple customer engagements simultaneously.

How will you make an Impact: 

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance (IGA).
  • Lead large-scale SailPoint IIQ and ISC implementation and transformation programs.
  • Drive IAM strategy, assessments, and roadmap engagements.
  • Design scalable IAM architectures aligned with business and security requirements.
  • Lead solution configuration, customization, integration, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Oversee identity lifecycle management, provisioning, access certifications, role management, and governance controls.
  • Develop architecture documents, technical designs, and executive-level presentations.
  • Support pre-sales activities, proposals, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define and prioritize requirements.
  • Develop and maintain IAM best practices, accelerators, and reusable assets.
  • Contribute to the IAM Center of Excellence through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current on Identity Security trends, including AI Security, Non-Human Identities (NHI), and emerging IAM technologies.
  • Identify growth opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
  • Mentor and coach consultants and junior team members.

What are we looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of IAM consulting and solution delivery experience.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) and Identity Security Cloud (ISC).
  • Deep expertise in SailPoint architecture, design, configuration, development, integration, and deployment.
  • Architect-level experience across at least 3–4 SailPoint implementation projects is mandatory.
  • Skilled in requirements gathering and leading discovery sessions with application and business owners, particularly for U.S.-based customers.
  • Experience with identity lifecycle management, provisioning, access reviews, certifications, role management, and governance.
  • Strong experience with SailPoint connectors, custom workflows, QuickLinks, reports, and custom development.
  • Proven experience onboarding applications and implementing automated lifecycle management.
  • SailPoint Administrator and SailPoint Engineer certifications required.
  • CISSP, CISM, or related security certifications are preferred.
  • Experience leading multiple enterprise IAM implementations at scale.
  • Expertise in Role Mining, RBAC, ABAC, access governance, and compliance controls.
  • Strong experience with Java, BeanShell, JavaScript, SQL, PowerShell, XML, REST APIs, and database technologies.
  • Experience integrating IAM solutions with cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and directories.
  • Knowledge of SailPoint escalation processes to expedite resolution of product-related issues.
  • Strong customer-facing, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and complex IAM programs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and develop consulting talent.
