The Solutions Team within AHEAD’s Digital Solutions Group are thought leaders, program leaders, and technical experts that collaborate with our AHEAD Account Teams to help identify, qualify and build the solutions that support our customers Digital Business. The responsibilities of a Solutions Principal are highly customer facing and include working closely with AHEAD teams to drive the sales and delivery Digital Solutions consulting services.

Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement and Project Leadership
  • Facilitate strategy, roadmap, design, and planning workshops
  • Ensure that customer expectations are appropriately set and managed
  • Lead technical project teams in the delivery of consulting service offerings
  • Drive and manage the objectives, requirements gathering, project tasks/milestone, project status, dependencies, and timelines, to ensure engagements are delivered successfully and on time while meeting the business objectives
  • Breaks down the problem into manageable segments, identifies the factors that affect the problem and decides how to approach the project
  • Final editing and sign off on project deliverables
  • Presentation of deliverables to client executive management
  • Lead consultants to meet the organization's and client’s expectations
  • Business Development
  • Support business development pursuits through client discovery meetings that help qualify opportunities and allow the ideation of a strawman proposal
  • Represent service offerings during the sales cycle, including project scoping, proposal development, and presenting proposals to clients
  • Develop and promote relationships with customers and present technical solutions to C-Level executives
  • Practice Development and Thought Leadership
  • Develop and enhance AHEAD Digital Solutions services offerings, including consulting offerings and deployment services
  • Maintain a broad knowledge and understanding of the current and anticipated future state of the IT marketplace including IT trends, technologies, and standards
  • Maintain technical credibility within the industry and the field through demonstration and thought leadership
  • Mentor to team members and project members 
  • Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization that emphasizes the identified values and guiding principles

Qualifications

  • Highly experienced leading large transformational engagements 
  • Highly knowledgeable in Digital Solutions & business transformation utilizing technical capabilities AHEAD supports today: 
  • Digital Strategy and Adoption
  • Cloud-Native Architecture Patterns & Development 
  • Cloud Migrations 
  • Digital Product Management 
  • Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) 
  • Infrastructure as Code adoption 
  • Cloud Application Modernization 
  • Cloud Data Modernization 
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle principles 
  • Previous practical experience in pre-sales or defining and qualifying technical requirements for procurements preferred 
  • Results Oriented 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Comfortable presenting to customers at the Engineering & Executive Level 
  • Capable of building technical solutions that solve business needs & outcomes 
  • Ability to motivate others to achieve results 
  • Able to work well within the team and with partners 
  • Customer focused 
  • Able to work within customer deadlines 
  • Prior pre-sales and/or consulting experience preferred

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
