About Us
As part of Dyson’s Global Compliance and Approvals team, this role leads digital transformation initiatives that strengthen how compliance, certification, and approvals data are governed, managed, and reported across global programmes.
The role owns the design and delivery of compliance databases and Power Platform solutions that enhance workflow efficiency, data integrity, and visibility across the Compliance and Approvals portfolio.
About the Role
1. Digital Tools and Database Support
Lead the design, implementation, and governance of compliance databases and tools to manage C&A deliverables, including certification, regulatory, and approval data across multiple projects and regions.
Define and enforce structured data collection, validation, and automation standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and audit‑ready compliance records.
Own the design and evolution of scalable data models supporting complex datasets including product approvals, certification timelines, regulatory test results, and sales territory compliance requirements.
Establish and maintain reporting and analytics capabilities that provide reliable project visibility, automated status updates, and data‑driven insights for Compliance and Approvals programmes.
2. Power Platform Development
Architect and deliver Power Platform solutions that automate compliance and approval workflows, including progress tracking and management of outstanding deliverables with JDM and external partners.
Lead integrations across Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Teams, and Dataverse, enabling seamless data flow, task orchestration, and real‑time notifications.
Own the development and continuous improvement of Power BI dashboards, providing clear visibility of certification progress, risks, and critical milestones across regions.
Drive the development of self‑service digital tools that enable compliance managers to independently access certification documents, timelines, and regulatory test outcomes.
3. Process Optimization and Standards
Evaluate, redesign, and optimise Compliance and Approvals workflows, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, transparency, and control through digitalisation and automation.
Define and maintain solution architecture, data models, and technical documentation to ensure solution sustainability, knowledge continuity, and consistent delivery standards.
Establish enablement and adoption approaches, including guidance, training materials, and structured knowledge transfer to support long‑term use of delivered solutions.
4. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
Act as a key technical and transformation partner to Compliance and Approvals stakeholders, translating business, regulatory, and operational needs into effective digital solutions.
Provide regular, structured updates on delivery status, key risks, dependencies, and milestones to Compliance and Approvals leadership, supporting informed decision‑making.
About You
1. Educational Background:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
2. Experience:
10+ years of professional experience delivering digital solutions, data platforms, or technology‑enabled transformation within engineering, manufacturing, operations, or regulated environments.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in compliance and regulatory approvals or related field.
Familiarity with GMA global regulatory certification processes with proven track record for international markets (e.g., UL, CE, FCC, IEC, RoHS, REACH).
Proficient technical knowledge of international compliance standards.
Proficient understanding of product testing methodologies and certification workflows.
Exposure to global compliance, regulatory approvals, certification, or quality‑driven processes within multi‑regional product organizations.
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise‑scale data management solutions that support complex, multi‑stakeholder programmes.
Proven leadership in delivering Power Platform or equivalent low‑code solutions, from requirements definition through deployment, adoption, and operational support.
Track record of implementing workflow automation and process digitization initiatives that improve efficiency, visibility, and governance across cross‑functional teams.
Experience working in close partnership with programme and project managers, translating business, regulatory, and operational needs into scalable digital solutions.
Proven ability to operate effectively in matrix and cross‑cultural environments, collaborating with internal teams, partners, vendors, and external bodies.
3. Technical Skills :
Advanced capability in architecting, implementing, and governing enterprise‑grade data platforms, with strong focus on data integrity, auditability, and regulatory readiness.
Deep hands‑on expertise across the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint, Power BI), delivering secure, production‑ready solutions.
Strong ability to design end‑to‑end automated workflows, integrating approvals, data, reporting, and notifications across multiple systems.
Excellent data modelling, analytics, and reporting skills, with experience producing intuitive dashboards and executive‑level insights from complex datasets.
Ability to assess and influence system scalability, security, maintainability, and long‑term sustainability in regulated or quality‑driven environments.
