The Opportunity

We are looking for a Principal - Commercial Relationships to support commercial activities across the business.

This is a broad, hands-on role combining relationship management, business development support, project coordination, and commercial operations. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and clients to help drive commercial growth and ensure smooth execution across multiple workstreams.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys building relationships while keeping projects on track.

Key Responsibilities:Commercial & Relationship Management
  • Support and manage relationships with buyers, intermediaries, and strategic partners.
  • Assist with business development activities and commercial outreach.
  • Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and relationship management activities.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
  • Support commercial discussions and tender submissions.
Operations & Project Coordination
  • Manage CRM systems and commercial workflow processes.
  • Track opportunities, actions, and commercial pipelines.
  • Coordinate due diligence and documentation processes.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and execution of key initiatives.
  • Support market research and industry analysis.
  • Assist with strategic projects and business initiatives.
Requirements:Experience

3–6+ years of experience in:

    • Business Development
    • Commercial Operations
    • Project Management
    • Account Management
    • Client Relationship Management
    • Sales Operations
Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
  • Experience using CRM systems and workflow management tools.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred
  • Exposure to sustainability, ESG, environmental markets, or carbon markets is advantageous but not required.
