This is not simply a senior engineering position; it is an opportunity to influence engineering strategy, drive innovation, and help define how Acuity Analytics delivers modern cloud and platform solutions for its clients.
Working closely with the Chief Engineer and senior technical leaders, you will shape architectural direction, establish engineering standards, and champion cloud-native and platform engineering practices across the business. You will act as a trusted advisor on complex technical challenges, providing hands-on expertise when required while mentoring teams and developing future engineering leaders.

Technical Expertise
- Extensive hands-on experience designing and delivering cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture, landing zones, governance, security, and scalable platform design.
- Strong experience in Platform Engineering, including:
- Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs)
- Developer Experience (DevEx)
- CI/CD pipelines
- Containerisation and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
- Proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale distributed systems in production environments.
- Strong expertise with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and Bicep.
- Ability to write production-quality code and provide hands-on technical leadership when required.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, automation, observability, and cloud-native engineering practices.
Leadership & Strategic Influence
- Experience shaping technical strategy at an organisational, practice, or enterprise level.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and develop technical leaders.
