Principal Business Analyst, HCM & ERP Systems

We are seeking a Principal Business Analyst to join our G&A IT team, supporting our Japan business in a hybrid work mode. In this role, you will deliver and enhance Human Capital Management and enterprise resource planning solutions while collaborating with business collaborators and global G&A IT teams. • Lead Workday HCM delivery across requirements, design, build, testing, go-live, hyper-care, and support.
• Serve as Workday HCM functional guide and provide backup support for Oracle ERP operations.
• Translate HR and Finance needs into documented functional and technical specifications using structured business analysis.
• Connect functional owners with global development teams throughout requirements, design, build, and testing.
• Lead software contracts, vendors, delivery quality, compliance, scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Modernize HCM and ERP processes using current technology and automation opportunities.
• You build trusted relationships while solving issues proactively under pressure.

• Bachelor’s degree; Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field preferred.
• 6+ years as a technical lead or systems analyst focused on HCM or equivalent ERP experience.
• Workday HCM experience across Time and Absence, Core HCM, and Compensation; or Oracle ERP EBS/Fusion experience.
• 6+ years supporting requirements traceability through System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
• Experience leading structured requirements sessions and developing technology transition plans.
• Business-level written and spoken English.
• Analytical problem-solving, business acumen, urgency, organization, prioritization, and concurrent high-priority task management.
• Ability to work independently and within agile, collaborative, global multi-functional teams.
• Jira, ServiceNow, or similar service-management experience is a plus; Workday or Oracle certification is a plus.
