Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Principal AVIT & Security Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this critical role, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cutting-edge Audio-Visual (AV) and Information Technology (IT) systems while ensuring robust security measures across our enterprise infrastructure.
- Spearhead the development and execution of AVIT and security strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Design and oversee the implementation of complex AVIT systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for AVIT and network security vulnerabilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of large-scale AVIT and security projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define security requirements and implement best practices across the organization
- Develop and maintain documentation for AVIT systems, security protocols, and standard operating procedures
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in AVIT and cybersecurity to drive innovation within the organization
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for critical AVIT and security issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in AVIT and security engineering, with a proven track record of leading complex projects
- Advanced knowledge of Audio-Visual systems and Information Technology, including AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX, Extron)
- Expertise in network security protocols, cloud security, and IoT device security
- Strong understanding of IP networking and enterprise network architecture
- Proficiency in designing and implementing enterprise-level security solutions
- Experience with project management methodologies and leading cross-functional teams
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CTS-D are highly desirable
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and industry trends in AVIT and cybersecurity
Skills Required
