Define responsibilities and integration boundaries across platform layers, ensuring clear ownership, scalable design, and appropriate separation of concerns.
Define API, messaging, and integration contracts across platform components and external system interfaces, ensuring clear ownership, scalability, and maintainability.
Contribute to the architecture of the CubeVerse platform, including secure and scalable end-to-end connectivity from on-premises environments to cloud services.
Define expectations for latency, throughput, availability, fault isolation, and graceful degradation across operational scenarios.
Define data flows and architectural patterns that support performance, reliability, and continuous optimization across the platform.
Define scalable coordination patterns across controllers and operational domains, including task allocation, dependency management, and conflict resolution.
Own architecture decisions, reference designs, and technical review processes; mentor engineers and set engineering standards.

Strong experience with modern programming languages and platforms relevant to control systems, orchestration layers, middleware, or large-scale backend services.
Proven design of orchestration / coordination layers or middleware operating across independent subsystems.
Strong grounding in distributed systems fundamentals: concurrency, state machines, event-driven/messaging architectures, fault tolerance, and eventual consistency.
Experience defining APIs and integration contracts between independently-owned systems.
Ability to reason about performance, throughput, reliability, and failure modes in physical or operational environments.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing integrations across independently owned software and control-system components.
Track record evolving platform architectures to support scalability, extensibility, and maintainable integration patterns.
Cloud architecture experience, particularly with secure hybrid connectivity, cloud integration patterns, observability, and platform services connecting on-premises systems to cloud environments.
Strong expertise in distributed systems, control-platform architecture, APIs, messaging, data contracts, concurrency, fault tolerance, and performance-sensitive software design.

AutoStore Insights
What We Do
Welcome to AutoStore, where we make space and storage simpler! AutoStore™, founded in 1996, is a warehouse robot technology company that invented and continues to pioneer cube storage automation, the densest order-fulfillment solution in existence. Our focus is to marry software and hardware with human abilities to create the future of warehousing. The company is global, with over 950+ systems in 45 countries in a wide range of industries. All sales are distributed, designed, installed, and serviced by a network of qualified system integrators we call "partners". Figuring other industries could benefit from this new cube storage automation concept, Arrow Electronics acquired Hatteland Electronic in 2000. The funding enabled Hatteland Group to invest in AutoStore, and from that moment the commercialization period started. The mature and robust product called AutoStore was to become the backbone of the Hatteland Group and it was ready to conquer the world. In 2021, investment powerhouse SoftBank became an AutoStore shareholder following prior acquisitions by Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. and EQT Private Equity. Today, with more than 950 systems and 40,000 robots across 45 countries, AutoStore is poised to continue its aggressive global expansion.
