As a Principal Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Enterprise Technology, you provide expertise to enhance and develop architecture platforms based on modern cloud-based technologies, as well as support the adoption of strategic global solutions. Job Responsibilities

• Lead with influence and forge strong partnerships with CFS Product teams and a diverse array of internal and external collaborators. Your ability to envision the big picture, coupled with strategic thinking, will be instrumental in navigating complex challenges and delivering iterative, impactful solutions.
• Act as the vital link between business strategy and technical execution, especially in an environment that thrives on innovation and the development of new products. Your role is to seamlessly translate visionary business strategies into tangible technical implementations.
• Dive into research, development, and facilitation of cutting-edge technical solutions that align with Cloud Foundational Services' strategic goals and new product incubation efforts. Your work will be at the heart of our innovation lifecycle, collaborating closely with senior leaders to bring transformative ideas to fruition.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software development/architecture concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
• 10+ years of experience in technical leadership and architecture, with a proven track record of leading large-scale innovation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and platforms, including microservices, containers, IaaS, storage, security, and identity.
• Demonstrable influencing skills that can create a culture of change, excellence, and innovation, constructively challenging the status quo and leading to prudent implementation.Strong understanding of rapid prototyping and methods to shorten development cycles for platforms, software, and AI/ML products.
• Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, AI, machine learning, mobile)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Ability to establish, maintain, and facilitate technology decision-making and visions, building a critical mass of support across the organization.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills, including the ability to negotiate compromise and demonstrate diplomacy in sensitive situations.
  Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically in a fast-paced environment. Passion for business strategy and business processes.
  Passion for technology and innovation, with a commitment to driving positive change within the organization.
  Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, or similar.
• In-depth understanding of security best practices and regulatory requirements. Having Security credentials from SANS, ISC2 (e.g., CISSP), etc are helpful.
• Strong understanding of financial services industry trends, open source in finance, regulatory requirements, and the competitive landscape.
