For our newly established AI Center of Excellence (COE), Marmon is now seeking a key technical hire: a hybrid leader who functions as a Technical Architect, Technical Lead, and Delivery Owner. This is a highly visible, enterprise-level role responsible for bridging the gap between high-level AI strategy and hands-on technical execution. You will partner with business stakeholders across Marmon’s diverse portfolio to design, build, and deploy AI solutions that drive measurable value. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable whiteboarding an architecture as they are owning the end-to-end delivery of a production-ready AI agent or application.

What You'll Lead:

• AI Strategy & Architecture: Define the technical standards and architectural patterns for AI across the enterprise, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with Marmon’s decentralized business model.
• Solution Design: Translate complex business challenges into technical specifications, selecting the appropriate LLMs, agentic frameworks, and cloud services (Azure AI, AWS, etc.) to meet specific business unit needs.
• Full-Lifecycle Delivery: Own the technical roadmap and delivery for AI initiatives, moving projects from initial POC to enterprise-scale deployment.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a primary technical advisor to leadership and business unit heads, demystifying AI and identifying high-impact opportunities for automation and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Design and implement enterprise-grade AI solutions, focusing on agentic workflows, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and integrated LLM applications.
• Lead the technical execution of AI projects, managing resources and timelines while maintaining a high bar for code quality and architectural integrity.
• Collaborate with IT and Security teams to ensure AI deployments comply with enterprise data governance and infrastructure standards.
• Mentor future technical team members and establish best practices for AI development, testing, and monitoring.
• Provide "boots on the ground" technical leadership during the initial build phase, transitioning to a more strategic architectural role as the COE scales.
• Stay at the forefront of AI research and toolsets, evaluating new technologies for their potential to benefit Marmon’s businesses.

What You'll Bring to the Role:

• Strategic Mindset: The ability to think beyond a single project and understand how AI fits into the broader Marmon enterprise strategy.
• Architectural Depth: Deep experience in cloud-native architecture (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and a proven track record of designing complex, integrated systems.
• AI Expertise: Practical experience building with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or Copilot Studio).
• Delivery Excellence: Strong project management and delivery ownership skills; you are someone who "gets things done" and takes pride in seeing a solution live in production.
• Communication Skills: The ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a way that builds trust and drives adoption.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with at least 2-3 years focused on AI/ML delivery.
• Experience implementing information lifecycle management and levering AI for solving use cases focused in enterprise unstructured content.
• Experience in a consulting or multi-business environment is highly preferred, as you will be supporting a wide range of autonomous industries.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and owning the delivery of high-visibility enterprise initiatives.

Pay Range:

150,000.00 - 225,000.00
