We’re seeking a Principal Analytics Leader—a senior-level expert who combines technical depth with business acumen. In this highly visible role, you’ll shape how we quantify value and savings, influence healthcare market dynamics, and partner with leaders across the industry to deliver accountable health and care solutions. 

This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of data, healthcare, and market transformation. You’ll work with senior leaders across the industry, influence how employers and consultants evaluate value, and directly shape the future of accountable healthcare. What You’ll Do 

Strategic Leadership & Influence 

  • Serve as a thought leader on value measurement, savings analytics, and benchmarking. 
  • Drive alignment on Transcarent’s value proposition across internal teams and client reporting. 
  • Represent Transcarent with senior leaders, consultants, and employer clients. 

Analytics & Insights 

  • Oversee program impact and savings studies at scale, presenting actionable insights to clients and industry experts. 
  • Continuously refine and enhance retrospective savings models, ensuring rigor and relevance. 
  • Continually learn about company and product priorities by partnering closely with leadership and business stakeholders to foster a culture of measurement and hypothesis-driven innovation; help stakeholders identify analytical solutions to prospective client questions. 

Collaboration & Partnership 

  • Partner closely with Finance, Actuarial, Provider Contracting, Strategy, and Data Science teams. 
  • Support deal desk and Finance with pricing, risk, and financial projection models. 
  • Collaborate with Product and Innovation teams to quantify the value of new clinical solutions. 

Data Expertise & Enablement 

  • Master and leverage diverse data sources—claims, eligibility, utilization, engagement, provider quality, SDOH, and more. 
  • Build a culture of data fluency by documenting methodologies, mentoring colleagues, and promoting standard measurement techniques. 
  • Explore new datasets and methods to solve high-priority business questions. 

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves 

  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, health economics, actuarial science, or related fields. 
  • Proven ability to present complex analytics to senior leaders, clients, and external experts. 
  • Strong SQL skills with experience querying and analyzing data from large datasets. 
  • Deep expertise with healthcare data, including claims, utilization, eligibility, and cost. 
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to balance rigor with business needs. 
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills. 

Nice-to-Haves 

  • Experience in a Health Tech or start-up environment. 
  • Familiarity with statistical programming (e.g., R) and data warehouse querying. 
  • Background in value-based care, health economics, or actuarial modeling. 
  • Familiarity with GitHub or other tooling for replicability and standardization.
As a remote position, the salary range for this role is:
$170,000$180,000 USD

Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal equity.  

Salary is just one component of Transcarent's total package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock options.
