What makes this role unique

• You’ll lead by influence, not hierarchy — setting direction, mentoring others, and driving strategic projects that matter.

• You'll work directly on initiatives that shape how millions of users discover and engage with Domain, starting with our SEO platform and extending across the business.

• You won’t just prototype — you’ll ship. That means ownership of everything from opportunity scoping through to robust, scalable deployment.

• You'll work with one of the best data stacks in the country — and you’ll have the autonomy to push the boundaries of what AI can do in our space.

What you'll be doing

• Identifying high-impact opportunities to apply AI and machine learning to real business problems — and backing them with clear ROI and technical feasibility.

• Owning projects end-to-end: from concept, design, and stakeholder engagement through to build, testing, and deployment.

• Leading development of scalable AI/ML systems — including MLOps infrastructure that keeps things running smoothly and cost-effectively in production.

• Pioneering the use of LLMs and GenAI across our products — designing secure, useful, and reliable applications of these technologies.

• Acting as a force multiplier for the business by mentoring others, running workshops, and helping to embed AI/ML thinking across teams.

What we’re looking for:

You don’t need to tick every box — but if you recognise yourself in most of the below, we’d love to hear from you.

• Expertise in production-grade AI/ML systems — you’ve designed and deployed models at scale in the cloud, with performance, cost and safety in mind.

• Deep experience with modern MLOps — including CI/CD, monitoring, and model lifecycle management.

• Hands-on with GenAI/LLMs — from prompt engineering and RAG pipelines to orchestration frameworks like LangGraph or LangChain.

• Strong data foundations— you’re fluent in Python, SQL, and cloud data platforms like AWS and Snowflake.

• Business-first mindset — you can translate technical work into real commercial outcomes, and clearly communicate value to stakeholders.

Nice To Have

Familiarity with SEO and how AI can supercharge search visibility is a strong plus.
