About the RoleThe Principal AI Engineer - Banking OS Control Plane for Integrations is a pivotal role within our Ecosystems department. In this role, you won't just be using tools to build connectors; you will be the core engineer responsible for building and enhancing the Integrations Control Plane - Connector Studio—our proprietary, AI-powered platform designed to enable the seamless creation of connectors.
You will architect the intelligent engine and the platform tools that empower teams to integrate diverse banking systems effortlessly. You are building the "brain" and the machinery of the Connectivity and Integration Layer (powered by Grand Central), which acts as the critical bridge between our intelligent frontline and the complex world of legacy core systems, CRMs, and fintechs.
What We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for a Principal AI Engineer with a passion and deep knowledge in building intelligent, context-aware agentic systems, tools, and platforms. You’ll play a key role in leading the development of the AI-powered studio, creating the intelligent workflows and automated tools that simplify and accelerate the generation of complex banking connectors.
You should be:
- 🚀 Experienced: Minimum 8 years in software engineering, with 5+ years developing and delivering enterprise-grade AI applications.
- 🧠 Technically Strong: Expert proficiency in Python, Django, and hands-on mastery of Agentic AI frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, Agno), RAG architectures, and API-first design.
- 🧩 Agentic Thinker: Well-versed in modern AI agent patterns including MCP, A2A, ACP. You understand how to build modular systems where agents collaborate, reason, and adapt to context dynamically.
- 🛠️ MLOps / LLMOps Savvy: You’re comfortable with model lifecycle management, prompt versioning, fine tuning, context management, agent monitoring, and AI experimentation using platforms like Azure AI Foundry, HuggingFace, and LangChain.
- ☁️ Cloud & Infra Native: Good knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably Azure), Kubernetes for AI workloads, and CI/CD pipelines that support rapid and reliable delivery.
