As a Principal AI Architect you will be responsible for defining and driving the strategy, architecture and roadmap for AI powered propositions in IGT Systems product and solution portfolio, where functions and features are offered "as a Service”. The portfolio of IGT Systems includes Azurion, and Zenition imaging platforms, interventional applications, various ventures, and Solutions for workflow optimization, clinical intelligence and performance analytics.
Your role:
- Defining and maintaining the reference architecture and long-term architecture roadmap.
- Designing and managing platform architectures to enable scalable and efficient AI deployments.
- Developing and owning AI technology roadmaps, including AI development tools and frameworks.
- Initiating, leading, and overseeing the Architecture & Platform Creation program to de-risk, validate, and mature AI products and platforms.
- Building strong partnerships with Philips businesses and corporate teams to drive knowledge sharing, reuse, and alignment on AI platforms.
You're the right fit if :
- A Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in machine learning, or AI solution development in a professional or enterprise environment
- Deep understanding of Generative AI, Foundation Models for image segmentation, Large Language Models (LLMs), and prompt engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and GenAI toolkits (LangChain, Hugging Face, etc.).
- Knowledge of federated learning, edge AI,
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale AI platforms or MLOps pipelines in production
- Keep abreast of technical developments in own field through study of the literature and technical contacts
- Experience working with cross-site, cross-functional, dynamic teams
Advantage :
- Experience with regulated AI/ML software in medical devices
- Experience in AI for imaging and clinical workflows

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
