Job Description:
What You'll Do

  • As an Agile Program Manager, you will leverage your deep understanding of agile principles and modern software product development process to shape how we work, learn, and innovate. You leverage your Agile management skillset to continuously evolve product development process to reduce waste and improve efficiency. You will also help build strong communities and shape our culture of continuous learning and continuous improvement.
  • Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.


How You'll Do It

  • Ensure clear alignment of work against objective and key results/goals to empower product teams to deliver key results. In partnership with Business Director/Business Technology Director.
  • Leverages metrics to derive insights, continuously identify and drive improvement opportunities to fruition across the product family.
  • Be the champion of Agile delivery practices within a Product Family, supported by Discover Technology Academy (DTA).
  • Partner with the Tech Anchors, Scrum Masters, SPO, PO's and BTD's to drive maturity of our CraftWorx practices within a product family, supported by DTA.
  • Train, mentor and coach their product family to mature product team practices in alignment with DTA playbooks.
  • Building community, foster inter-team collaboration with a culture of continuous learning and continuous improvement across the Product Families.
  • Facilitate coordination and collaboration of product families/teams to maximize the flow of work within complex Products.
  • Optimize the flow of work from ideation to delivery within Product Family(s) and across multiple agile teams.
  • Dependency Management across product area/family/team to guide the org to deliver high quality value.
  • Removal of systemic impediments.
  • Foster adoption of the CraftWorx/single Agile Way of Working standards.
  • Have a broad experience successfully facilitating both small and large events
  • Do not need much preparation to facilitate a successful event
  • Toolbox consists of a few participatory decision making, collaborative, visual and kinesthetic facilitation techniques both for large and small groups.
  • Has a deep understanding of facilitation skills and is able to adapt their approach to a variety of situations and audiences. They are able to anticipate potential problems and are skilled at handling unexpected events or challenges.
  • Are able to be quickly pivot and be responsive to different situations that arise. Intuition informs your approach, and you pivot so quickly that audience does not notice you deviated from the agenda. It is difficult to phase you with difficult situation and you seamlessly adjust.
  • You integrate a variety of activities that drive inter- and intra-team collaboration.


Qualifications You'll Need
The Basics

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration and Management
  • 6+ years of Project Management, Agile or related experience

Bonus Points If You Have

  • 8 years of Project Management, Agile or related experience
  • Strong Jira experience
  • Intermediate or Advanced experience with Tableau
  • Strong Jira Align experience.
  • Expert in Scrum framework with advanced experience in scaling frameworks (ex: SAFe).
  • Strong analytics experience synthesizing data into compelling messages for change to Product and Engineering stakeholders.
  • Expertise in creating software delivery plans: breaking down larger concepts into consumable work and working with engineering to size and sequence work for delivery.
  • Experience building continuous improvement roadmaps for area(s) supported.
  • Knowledge of Software Capitalization and R&E Tax Credit laws and how to apply them to building software.
  • Understands need for architectural runway in software development and proactively seeks ways to optimize work flowing through the system.
  • Strong experience engaging and partnering with a PMO governance body.
  • Ability to roll up sleeves and dig deep into the work; have intimate knowledge of- delivery in area supported.
  • Expert in identifying dependencies and risks between epics/features and knowing how to effectively document them and drive them to conclusion.
  • Excellent communication with ability to effectively influence partners and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with release management processes.
  • Constantly keeps (regulatory) compliance top of mind in everything you do.
  • Understands DevOps mindset and seeks ways to improve the CICD delivery pipeline.

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $88,500.00 to $149,300.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
