Mayvin is seeking a Senior Acquisition SME (Robotics) to provide expert-level acquisition support for advanced robotics and autonomous systems programs. This role is embedded within a dynamic Assistant Program Manager (APM) team supporting United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) at Ft. Belvoir, VA. The Senior Acquisition SME will serve as a key acquisition advisor and technical integrator to enable rapid and effective development, testing, and fielding of cutting-edge robotic platforms and systems for national defense.


Must be a U.S. citizen.

Must have an active Top Secret clearance.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and refine acquisition strategies and documentation including SOWs, SOOs, PWSs, APBs, SAMPs, IGCEs, CDRLs, TEMPs, and F&DRs
  • Translate technical and operational requirements into clear, actionable acquisition documentation and program guidance
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Quality Assurance, engineering, and technical personnel to ensure requirements, design specifications, documentation, and problem resolution align with program objectives
  • Lead and support technical evaluations of contractor proposals, assessing cost, schedule, risk, and performance with appropriate SMEs
  • Develop and present acquisition documentation, milestone briefings, and formal memoranda to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Guide Test & Evaluation (T&E) planning and execution, including DT, OT, and LUTs, while coordinating stakeholders, industry partners, contracting offices, action items, and follow-up
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's level degree in any technical or managerial discipline
  • Minimum 15 years professional experience in program/project management
  • Experience with Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and SOFCIDS
  • Experience in Robotics, Autonomy, or Unmanned Systems (UGV, UAS, UxS) 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working in or supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF) – understanding of SOF organizational structures, missions and culture
