UOP is hiring a Principal Outside Sales Representative with Full Cycle Sales accountability in the Refining, Petrochemical, and Adsorbent industry. This position will preferably be based in Rosemont, IL.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Relentless focus on conducting business with the highest degree of integrity and compliance.
- Lead opportunities through the entire sales cycle: Identify opportunity, clarify bid, develop sales strategy, enroll and align sales support, submit proposal, close the deal, work with order management, production planning and service to make, deliver and service the product.
- Lead the customer relationship for assigned customer set. Be able to work issues through their chain of command and understand the customer business drivers, decision-making process, and key decision-makers.
- Forecast & build product demand and revenue (for refining, petrochemical, catalysts, adsorbents) for assigned accounts 18 months into the future and deliver on resulting annual targets.
- Forecast & build project opportunities and revenue (for technology sales, engineering work, gas processing, etc.) for assigned accounts 18 months into the future and deliver on resulting annual targets.
- Manage customer relationships and coverage by sharing information and maintaining account plans throughout UOP.
- Support HONEYWELL Business and Technology functions by providing market and competitor intelligence.
- Report and work with internal resources to resolve customer issues, including legal agreements.
- Maintain all internal work and sales processes, e.g. SFDC.
- 25-50% domestic travel annually.
Qualifications
You Must Have:
- 3+ years of experience in day-to-day operating experience with Hydroprocessing, Isomerization, Reforming and/or Aromatics technologies within the refining and/or petrochemical industry.
- 1+ years of experience of selling into a competitive marketplace and achieve premium prices by communicating the value achieved by the customer using UOP products and services.
- 3+ years of experience knowledge of the application of catalysts and adsorbents in refinery and petrochemical processes and the refining business in the Americas.

- 3 years min experience with UOP-Licensed refining and petrochemical catalytic process technologies; specifically, Platforming, Butamer, Penex, Hydroprocessing, Oleflex, Parex, or similar.
- General knowledge of the application of catalysts, adsorbents, & process technologies in refinery, petrochemical, and gas processes in either the refining, petrochemical, gas, and midstream industries in the Americas
- Experience using MicroSoft Office & SalesForce.Com (SFDC).
- The ability to work effectively with other sales colleagues and sales support functions.

The annual base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $225,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
