As a Prin Sales Ops Spec here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and supporting sales operations to drive business growth and operational excellence.
You will report to Industrial Measurement & Control CCO directly and US&C Sales Excellence leader in matrix line. You’ll work out of our Houston, TX location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of sales processes, enabling the sales team to meet and exceed targets through data-driven insights, process improvements, and operational support.
You will be responsible for the implementation, adoption, support and compliance of the various sales’ best practices between commercial and functional teams. Similarly, this position is one of the focal points for any business improvement associated with the sales process and will be the vehicle to communicate and educate the organization, nurture and coach any changes and ensure accountability on an ongoing basis. Ultimately, the mission of your role is to ensure that the business and sales management are provided with the right information at the right time in the right format as effectively and efficiently as possible, and to ensure that the sales teams have maximum focus, engagement, and support to deliver business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to streamline sales processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain sales tools, systems and reports, dashboards to ensure accurate and timely data availability.
- Provide support to key sales excellence initiatives (lead management, pipeline health & quality and sufficiency, sales activities, trainings, forecast accuracy and Say/Do performance).
- Actively participate in key growth initiatives and programs – commercial launches of NPI and service connectivity to EAM
- Collaborate with ISC and Sales teams to maximize Book & Turn opportunities, reduce slow moving and FGI inventory
- Provide support in and implementing sales tools/systems and guidance on sales tools/processes and tech stack and appropriate reporting.
- Act as super user and complete UAT based on test scenarios and provide training for sales tools and CRM systems.
- Support sales quota deployment based on AOP to individual sellers, complete quota acknowledgment processes
- Support sales compensation programs including sales incentive plans and SPIFF with Windfall policy administration.
- Provide weekly and ongoing reports on performance and sales behavior index of each line business.

YOU MUST HAVE
- 4+ years of extensive experience in sales excellence and operations with a strong understanding of sales processes and metrics.
- Proficiency in sales analytics tools and CRM systems to manage and interpret sales data effectively.
- Experienced in SAP, Salesforce.com, Power BI
- Experience executing in a highly matrixed organization.
- Strong skills in sales forecasting, reporting, and performance measurement to support business objectives.
- Experience with sales compensation administration and incentive plan management.
- Ability to implement process improvements and support cross-functional collaboration to enhance sales effectiveness.
