    • RFEM, Idea Statica, STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, or ANSYS
    • Drafting and layout tools like REVIT, TEKLA, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Civil 3D
    • Familiarity with BIM and 3D modeling tools is often preferred
  • Codes and Standards: Comprehensive knowledge and ability to apply relevant international and regional design codes and utility standards, including:
    • Eurocodes, British Standards, or IEC standards (UK/International standards)
    • Familiarity with client-specific utility standards (e.g., National Grid, SSE)
  • Site and Environmental Knowledge: Understanding of geotechnical constraints, site grading, and designing structures to withstand specific environmental loads (wind, seismic, extreme weather).

3. Management and Leadership Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Ability to lead projects from feasibility studies through detailed design, construction, and commissioning, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Team Management: Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to a team of structural engineers, designers, and technical staff.
