Job Description
Pricing Strategy Manager: Lead the development of comprehensive pricing strategies and experiments across all Traveloka products. Guide team members in analyzing market trends, competitor dynamics, and customer behavior to optimize pricing decisions. Model pricing scenarios and forecast revenue impacts, collaborating closely with supply and marketing teams to align strategies with business goals. Monitor pricing performance, identify optimization opportunities, and deliver regular reports and insights to senior management on pricing effectiveness and market trends.
Pricing Strategy Associate: Support pricing strategy through market research, analysis, and development of pricing models. Analyze competitor strategies and market dynamics to inform pricing decisions. Assist in preparing pricing proposals and presentations for internal stakeholders. Collaborate across functions such as marketing and supply teams to gather insights and maintain accurate pricing databases. Monitor pricing performance, conduct post-implementation analysis, and provide ad-hoc support on special projects as needed.
Pricing Analyst:
You will manage pricing data and systems to ensure accuracy and integrity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Price Strategy Associate and marketing, to implement and maintain pricing processes. Regular audits will help identify discrepancies and improvement opportunities, while you assist in developing pricing policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will support pricing strategy initiatives by providing insights on trends and market dynamics, troubleshoot system issues with the pricing product team, and offer training to internal stakeholders, all while staying updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in pricing operations.
Requirements
We have three distinct opportunities within our pricing team:
Pricing Strategy Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in pricing analytics or related fields.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as SQL and Python is advantageous.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, adept at interpreting complex data.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven leadership skills, able to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus on pricing decisions.
Pricing Strategy Associate:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in pricing or analytics.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as SQL and Python is beneficial.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data visualization techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, skilled in deriving insights from large datasets.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, capable of presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Pricing Analyst :
