The Pricing Strategy team is part of our Revenue Management group and enhances Conagra's sales and gross margin through pricing and promotional trade spending recommendations. The Pricing Strategy team collaborates daily with our Brand, Sales Planning, and Trade Performance teams.
As a Pricing Strategy Analyst, you will be a crucial resource for pricing decisions across a wide spectrum of iconic brands in our Snacks and Sweet Treats portfolio, such as Snack Pack, Duncan Hines, Swiss Miss, and PAM. You will develop an in-depth understanding of the data and tools available for managing pricing and promotional strategies while also supporting the team in accomplishing assigned tasks. You will report to a Pricing Strategy Manager.
Your Impact:
- Provide disciplined analytics support through data mining, data modeling, data analysis, and cost/benefit analysis for pricing and promotions across customers and retail channels.
- Partner with assigned brands to analyze market trends, product volumes, profit margins, competitor and retailer dynamics, promotional tactics, and long-term brand strategies.
- Provide recommendations to develop brand-specific pricing and promotional trade strategies.
- Operate as the pricing voice during broader business discussions that involve Brand, Brand Finance, Consumer Insights, and Sales.
- Create and monitor KPIs to track the performance of in-market pricing actions.
- Use available tools and data sets to make clear fact-driven recommendations.
- Look for opportunities to optimize base and promotional pricing across our portfolio.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and work on special projects to support Conagra Revenue Management projects and the needs of the Pricing Strategy team.
Your Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1+ years of professional experience in Revenue Management, Pricing, Category Management, Customer or Sales Strategy, Sales or Trade Finance, or similar.
- Experience translating large amounts of data into applicable insights and strategies.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (v and x lookup, pivot tables); experience with Microsoft Power BI (building and maintaining dashboards) a plus.
- Experience working with databases and writing queries to pull data.
- Must be comfortable working in a collaborative role with multiple business partners.

Located in downtown Chicago along the Chicago River, our corporate headquarters is in the landmark Merchandise Mart building, with access to public transit, and several options for dining and shopping in the area.

Compensation:
Pay Range:$62,000-$91,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
