Job Summary
The Pricing Strategy Analyst plays a key role in supporting the pricing strategy and commercial performance of HBX Group’s Accommodation and M&E business. Through data analysis, performance monitoring, and reporting, the role identifies pricing opportunities, evaluates business impact, and supports the execution of initiatives that drive revenue, profitability, and customer conversion. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with commercial acumen to transform complex data into actionable insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze pricing performance, customer behavior, booking trends, and commercial results to identify growth and profitability opportunities.
- Monitor key pricing and business performance indicators, providing recommendations to improve pricing effectiveness.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic pricing decisions and business priorities.
- Assess market trends, customer demand, and competitive positioning to identify opportunities and risks.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of pricing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and testing activities.
- Measure the impact of pricing actions and provide post-implementation evaluations and recommendations.
- Develop business cases for pricing and revenue optimization opportunities.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical models to support pricing decision-making.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of pricing performance data and reporting.
- Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
- Support regular business reviews by providing performance analysis and commercial insights.
- Collaborate closely with Pricing Strategy Leads, Pricing Operations, and other business stakeholders.
- Contribute to pricing transformation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a trusted business partner, providing timely analytical support across the organization.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in Pricing Analytics, Business Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Revenue Management, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Experience analyzing large datasets and identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Strong understanding of pricing, revenue, profitability, and commercial performance metrics.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with analytical and reporting tools.
- Experience creating dashboards, reports, and performance tracking models.
- Knowledge of SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization and analytics tools is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working across cross-functional teams.
- Commercially minded with a strong focus on delivering measurable business impact.
