The Role
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is seeking a motivated Pricing Specialist to join our team in the Plantation, Florida office. This position is part of the Pricing Team within Chewy's Merchandising Systems & Services (MSS) organization. MSS is responsible for supporting the systems and infrastructure that power all Chewy businesses. Our team focuses on enabling long-term customer trust, business growth, and operational efficiency.
The Pricing Specialist will support daily pricing operations and help maintain data accuracy across various systems. The ideal candidate is meticulous, organized, and comfortable working with data, even if not yet an expert.
You'll join a collaborative, energetic team in a fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to grow your skills and make a meaningful impact on our pricing processes.
What You'll Do:
  • Support day-to-day pricing operations, ensuring data inputs are accurate and systems run smoothly.
  • Help monitor exception queues and pricing discrepancies within our pricing tools.
  • Assist Merchandising partners in evaluating pricing accuracy and identifying basic opportunities to balance competitiveness and profitability.
  • Conduct regular checks on competitor websites and document key changes or promotions.
  • Apply existing tools (e.g., Excel and dashboards) to perform basic audits on price guardrails and critical metrics.
  • Run simple reports and data lookups to help verify pricing data integrity.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics (or equivalent experience).
  • 1+ year of work experience in a pricing, operations, or data-focused role.
  • Solid Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, COUNTIFs, Pivot Tables).
  • Solid attention to detail and basic analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently on repetitive tasks and adapt to changes in priorities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have:
  • Familiarity with pricing systems or e-commerce platforms.
  • Exposure to tools such as Tableau or SQL.
  • Experience using Jira or working in a collaborative,ticket based workflow.
