Job Objective
ERM is seeking a highly motivated and technically capable Manager to own, maintain, and continuously enhance our proprietary Value Pricing Platform. The platform serves as a critical commercial application supporting ERM's global consulting teams in developing accurate, data-driven pricing for sustainability services.
This role sits at the intersection of Commercial Operations, Pricing, Data Management, and Technology. The successful candidate will act as the technical steward of the platform, ensuring data integrity, system performance, user adoption, and ongoing platform enhancement. The individual will work closely with Global Pricing, Finance, Commercial Operations, IT, Enterprise Architecture, Salesforce, and other business stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and maximize business value.
The ideal candidate combines strong business process understanding with hands-on experience developing and supporting solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Platform Ownership & Product Management
• Serve as the subject matter expert for ERM's Value Pricing Platform.
• Develop deep expertise in the platform's functionality, pricing logic, data structures, integrations, and user workflows.
• Manage the platform roadmap, prioritizing enhancements, bug fixes, and user requirements.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable platform solutions.
• Collaborate with IT and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure platform stability, security, and scalability.
• Monitor platform adoption and identify opportunities to improve user experience and efficiency.
Application Development & Continuous Improvement
• Design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements using Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, and related Power Platform technologies.
• Develop and maintain workflows, automation, business rules, and user interfaces that support pricing processes.
• Support platform integrations with Salesforce, Workday, BST, and other enterprise systems.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, and user experience.
• Support other commercial function to design and develop MS PowerApps.
• Maintain technical documentation, release notes, and development standards.
Data Governance & Data Management
• Establish and execute data validation processes to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Monitor data quality and proactively resolve data integrity issues.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance and security requirements.
User Support & Platform Operations
• Manage platform support activities through Service Engine and other support channels.
• Troubleshoot platform, data, workflow, and integration-related issues.
• Coordinate issue resolution across business, IT, and external support teams.
• Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, and knowledge base content.
• Deliver user training and support adoption initiatives across global teams.
Reporting & Analytics
• Perform data analysis and commercial deep dives to support business decision-making.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Generate insights on pricing trends, platform usage, data quality, and operational performance.
• Support leadership requests for commercial, pricing, and operational analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, Pricing Operations, Business Systems, Data Management, or a related function.
• Demonstrated experience owning or supporting business-critical enterprise applications.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Required
• Hands-on experience developing and supporting Microsoft PowerApps solutions.
• Strong experience with Power Automate and workflow automation.
• Experience working with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, and enterprise data structures.
• Strong data analysis and data management capabilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Experience supporting system integrations and enterprise applications.
Preferred
• Experience with Salesforce, Workday, BST, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Experience supporting pricing, commercial operations, sales operations, or deal desk functions.
• Familiarity with API integrations and low-code application development best practices.
• Experience working within consulting, professional services, or matrixed global organizations.
SUCCESS PROFILE
The successful candidate is equally comfortable discussing pricing processes with commercial leaders, troubleshooting system issues with IT teams, developing PowerApps enhancements, and analyzing data to drive business decisions. They are proactive, customer-focused, technically curious, and capable of balancing strategic improvements with operational execution.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree in a related technical field, finance, or business
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience with data management processes (sourcing, architecture, cleansing, prepping)
- Strong skills in data analysis and experience handling large datasets and cross-functional collaboration
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
- Experience with MS Dynamics, Microsoft 365, or related programs
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, PowerApps, and data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI)
- Experience managing and developing dashboards with Power BI
- Goal-driven, resourceful, able to meet tight deadlines and produce high-quality work
- Team-oriented with excellent organization and communication skills
