The role sits within the ETO Refurbish team which is responsible for designing, coordinating, communicating, implementing and evaluating the strategies and action plans for the European MX business to achieve its regional targets! This is a new team that will initially be supporting 5 subsidiaries in Europe (UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain) with hopes in the future this will be extended further!
Role and Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities
The Pricing & Operations Manager – Refurbish will lead the 4 Refurbish areas: Operations , Pricing , Residual Value Sensing and Trade In Value monitoring
Operationalise Refurbish Business

Understand and manage the Collection / Refurbish / Sales indicators in association with S.COM / CX / Sales Director/ VP

Review and analyse key perfomance indicators (Total Lead Time and Residual Value) and report to subsidaries and VP of Commercial Strategy. Recommend actions from data insights to support the development of short-term tactics and long-term strategy in collaboration with Head of Refurbish, and then communicate/roll out to the 5 subsidaries
European Refurb Business Program

Coordinate the Refurbish Business launches in 5 European Subsidiaries by deploying the strategy from Suwon from start to finish. This includes from collection, refurbish and then to be sold

Collaborate closely with Smartphone portfolio/line up team to improve alignment and value proposition to consumers

Manage conflicting priorities cross-functions from Trade in operations to Refurbish
-
Secure sustainable used device collection channel such as S.COM Trade In Units and sell them to Resell partners which have global logistics and network
Pricing Management (Residual Value / Trade In Value)

Quantify market sizing through data analysis and subsidiary feedback, and recommend future opportunities for Refurbish Eco Business to Head of Refurbish. Conduct Market research and competitor sensing

Integrated market analytics into strategic decision-making processes.
Refurbish Product Management

Manage refurbish technologies genuine Parts and facilities for maintaining cost leadership and quality

High value Sales channel expansion (eg : Insurance) which guarantees the highest residual values
-
Reinvest profit into Samsung residual value improvement and secure virtuous cycle

The interview process
Two rounds of interview
Candidate will be asked to do a presentation in the second round of interview
The interviews will be conducted with the hiring manager (Refurbish Biz Senior Manager), skip-level manager (ETO Commercial Strategy VO) and/ or team member(s) of the team
