This 10 month temporary assignment offers a solid development opportunity for someone who wants to expand their analytical and commercial toolbox while contributing directly to how we price Consumer Loans across the Nordics.
In this role, you will work closely with Product, Risk, Finance, and local market teams, helping to build and run our Nordic pricing ecosystem in a structured and co-operative way. You will take ownership of key pricing analyses, drive improvements, and support the business with clear insights that guide decisions.
Your essential responsibilities will be:
- Develop and manage the Nordic pricing ecosystem, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing for Consumer Loans across all markets.
- Analyze market pricing (interest rates and fees) in all Nordic markets, identifying gaps and modelling price sensitivity to support recommendations.
- Lead and refine segmentation and pricing frameworks for new business, ensuring consistent methodology and alignment with regulatory and risk guidelines.
- Suggest price and fee changes for both new and existing portfolio customers (within the regulatory framework), based on performance, profitability, and customer behavior.
- Maintain pricing dashboards, prepare ad-hoc analyses for senior stakeholders, and ensure recommendations and documentation meets compliance and audit requirements.
- Drive further automation of the pricing methodology
- Act as backup for the local Product Manager to support continuity during absences.
Skills required in this role
You are someone who enjoys combining analysis with practical commercial thinking, and you are comfortable working both independently and with colleagues across teams. You like building structure, turning data into insights, and approaching problems with curiosity and a calm, practical mindset.
Experience
- Extensive experience from an analytical role, ideally linked to financial services or product management.
- Understanding of business models, market dynamics, and pricing for relevant products.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Analytics, or a quantitative field (or equivalent experience).
Skills
- Strong analytical skills with solid mathematical/statistical understanding.
- Good skills in MS Excel; SQL, Python, or R are an advantage.
- Ability to build trust and collaborate well across functions.
- Ability to prepare clear, structured analyses and business cases.
