The Defense Systems Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Pricing Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Pricing Team produce proposal pricing and cost volume in response to customer proposal requests in the aerospace, airborne, land, sea, and manufacturing business areas. Successful individual will have experience leading and developing compliant, complete, and awardable pricing files and Cost/Price proposal narratives in a fast paced and highly visible environment including participation in a variety of pricing and estimating activities, as well as experience managing a team.
This is a hybrid position from either Reston - VA or Huntsville - AL with occasional telework.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop pricing/cost volumes in accordance with proposal instructions and company policies.
- Work cross functionally with proposal team members including contracts, subcontracts, procurement, capture management, finance, and technical estimators.
- Work with proposal teams to ensure completion of compliant basis of estimates.
- Produce timely pricing and cost volume narratives to meet proposal gate review schedules.
- Ensure all pricing/cost volumes and supporting documents are loaded into estimating repository.
- Provide peer reviews.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related discipline with 5+ years of Pricing related experience, including 2+ years' experience supervising or leading teams. Additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Government contracting industry experience is required.
- Experience with proposal development and various contract types/vehicles.
- Experience with Government customer proposal requirements, apply contracting and pricing principles.
- Must be customer focused and possess professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and prioritize in a faced-paced deadline driven environment.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Excellent quantitative analysis skills.
- Proficient with desktop applications (i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient with Microsoft Word (e.g., formatting, styles, headers/footers, tables, etc.) to produce compliant cost volumes.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills to produce accurate pricing files including Government pricing templates.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- ProPricer experience
- Currently holding a Secret level clearance or above
- Experience with Work Breakdown Structure

Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
