Position Overview:
The Pricing Engine Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the Optimal Blue product and pricing engine (PPE) to ensure accurate, compliant, and competitive mortgage pricing. This role collaborates with Secondary Marketing and IT to ensure Optimal Blue is configured and functioning to meet business needs.
This position operates within Eastern Standard Time Zone working hours to support the East Coast region.
Job Responsibilities:
- Configure, test, and maintain mortgage products and pricing structures within Optimal Blue.
- Manage investor and agency guideline updates, rate sheet changes, and margin adjustments.
- Collaborate with Secondary Marketing to ensure accurate pricing and margin strategies.
- Maintain and update product eligibility and pricing templates to reflect investor overlays and internal policy changes.
- Troubleshoot pricing discrepancies and system issues, delivering timely and accurate resolutions.
- Support new product rollouts and investor additions by building and validating product configurations.
- Work with IT to ensure seamless integration between Optimal Blue and the loan origination system (LOS).
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements and workflow improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2+ years of experience administering Optimal Blue in a mortgage lending environment.
- Experience working within the Optimal Blue Configuration Site, managing product eligibility and pricing templates.
- Experience with LOS platforms (e.g., Encompass) and system integrations.
- Understanding of mortgage products, investor guidelines, and secondary marketing.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Pay Range:
- Annual Salary: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00
The posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
