What You’ll Lead
In this role, you will oversee critical actuarial and financial analyses that guide pricing strategy including rate setting and optimize new business value. Your leadership will ensure competitive positioning, profitability, and sustainable long‑term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the team in setting crediting rates and conducting new business profitability analyses
- Enhance and streamline related process
- Deliver financial and competitive insights to support product strategy and innovation
- Prepare and present findings to senior leadership, influencing strategic direction
- Support forecasting of New Business Value
- Ensure strong governance, accuracy, and analytical rigor across pricing initiatives
What We’re Looking For Experience
- 10+ years in actuarial roles within life insurance, with strong pricing and new business valuation expertise
- Proficiency with actuarial software (GGY AXIS preferred)
- Strong understanding of NBV reporting, IFRS17, ESR frameworks, and product mechanics
Skills & Competencies
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and numerical capability
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to independently lead pricing initiatives and validate complex cashflows
- Strong attention to detail and collaborative mindset
Qualifications
- Associateship or Fellowship of a major actuarial body preferred
