Pricing and Solutions Design for MGFE plays a crucial role in the acceleration of our ambitious growth. We have launched new technology placing us at the forefront of the industry and have generated significant customer interest. The role of Pricing and Solution Design is to translate our customer requirements - often in the form of a tender, to a solution and associated rates.
The role reviews the customer (tender) materials, utilizes our rate tools to calculate cost, revenue and margins and generates a customer proposal. This requires both a deep understanding of the product characteristics as well as a creative mindset to generate solutions that go beyond the traditional price & rate structure.
The role interacts with internal stakeholders such as business development, sales and carrier management as well as with external stakeholders such as our customers and vendors. The solution based selling will also generate further business opportunities and as such the role will be involved and working together with the product development team to translate offered solutions into new (standard) products at scale.
Analytical thinking and use of our (excel based) tooling is required to generate satisfactory results for the internal and external stakeholders.
The role reports into the BD&Pricing manager and can be based in any of the European Maersk offices.
