We’re seeking a motivated Pricing and Costing Business Specialist to join our Yield Management team. This role will support the revenue recognition close-out process, ensuring accurate order level charges and contributing to data-driven pricing and costing decisions. This specialist will build a strong understanding of the order-to-cash cycle by ensuring orders are charged correctly at the line-item level. By developing and maintaining models that ensure accuracy on charge-code application, automating reporting processes, and analyzing internal data, the Pricing and Costing Business Specialist will identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with an analytical mindset and strong Python/SQL skills who are interested in deploying their modeling in a real-world scenario. We are searching for a team player with a passion for pricing strategy and/or procurement looking to grow their career in a fast-paced, data-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the close-out teams by applying data-driven approaches to ensure accurate system rating and costing, while reducing billing latency
- Design, develop, test, and maintain advanced pricing, costing, and billing models using Python and other analytical tools
- Drive efficiency and enhanced accuracy through automation of data collection, cleaning, and reporting processes
- Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations to communicate pricing and costing performance and trends
- Build flexible models to support ad hoc data analysis requests and meet evolving customer and business requirements
- Maintain healthy communication and active collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate their business needs into analytical frameworks and solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
- Experience with Python, SQL, Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and Machine Learning
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate findings clearly
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000
