Lead Pricing Analyst

Role Overview 

Finastra is seeking a Lead Pricing Analyst who will play a key role in the evolution and execution of our pricing analytics, performance measurement, and pricing governance frameworks. 

Reporting to the Senior Director, Pricing, this role operates as a highly skilled individual contributor who partners closely with Business Units, Sales Operations, and Commercial Finance to deliver rigorous analysis, insights, and recommendations that influence pricing decisions across the organization. 

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical depth with the ability to translate pricing trends into clear, actionable guidance for senior leaders. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Pricing Analytics & Framework Ownership 

  • Develop, refine, and maintain enterprise‑wide pricing KPIs, discount analytics, and price realization metrics. 

  • Support annual pricing reviews and list‑price adjustments, collaborating with Business Units, Product teams, and Commercial Finance. 

  • Analyze pricing performance to uncover patterns, drivers of variance, and opportunities to strengthen monetization strategy. 

  • Build and enhance pricing models, tools, and dashboards to improve visibility and decision-making. 

  • Promote continuous improvement in pricing processes, analytics, and data quality. 

Strategic Partnership & Influence 

  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Finance to provide analytical insights that guide pricing decisions, deal structure, segmentation, and margin optimization. 

  • Contribute to the development of pricing strategy and governance processes, ensuring alignment with financial and commercial priorities. 

  • Translate complex pricing data into clear, practical recommendations for stakeholders at multiple levels. 

 

Experience & Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience in pricing analytics, management consulting, strategic finance, or related quantitative roles. 

  • Strong background in strategic pricing, financial modeling, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking. 

  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams in a complex, multi-product environment. 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field. 

  • Experience in enterprise software, or financial services/fintech preferred. 

 

Skills & Competencies 

  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in pricing tools, BI platforms, and data visualization. 

  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to produce actionable insights. 

  • High commercial acumen and a deep understanding of revenue drivers, margin impacts, and customer value. 

  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
