You will be part of the Revenue Development and Pricing APAC Team of Bank covering Julius Baer Singapore and Hong Kong Branches and will become part of a very dynamic and client-focused organization and team. As part of the CFO organization, the Team is responsible for the continuous improvement, development and implementation of the Julius Baer Pricing landscape and respective framework for our clients booked in the entire region of Asia Pacific.

YOUR CHALLENGE
  • Strategic Pricing and Revenue Initiatives:
    • Support the design and implementation of pricing model updates, new product pricings, and digital pricing strategies.
    • Develop pricing strategies to enhance profitability by identifying revenue opportunities and defining respective initiatives
    • Support the implementation and rollout of pricing initiatives to actively drive the realisation of respective business cases
    • Drive analyses of market trends, competitor pricing, and client behaviour (e.g., pricing situation, product & price model usage, price level enforcement) to shape recommendations for pricing strategies
    • Preparation of presentation materials and analysis of data sets to support projects and pricing initiatives to ensure clear reporting and tracking of progress/performance
  • Product owner of Pricing Tool / Projects:
    • Orchestrate the implementation of price changes from a business side incl. adaption of pricing documents and system implementations in pricing tools
    • Conduct and lead working groups to gather business requirements for Pricing topics in collaboration with various stakeholders (e.g. Business, Compliance/Legal, IT)
    • Design and conduct user acceptance testing for Pricing related enhancements
    • Preparation of monthly budget forecasting and actualisation reporting for tracking and monitoring
  • Support Pricing Daily Business Activities:
    • Support the day-to-day pricing operations incl. inquiry handling, maintenance of fee structures and pricing documentation, resolution of technical issues with IT & Operations etc.
    • Support and facilitate the activities involving pricing policy or governance including the execution of pricing controls
    • Develop and manage pricing related training & education (incl. training materials, new joiner training etc.)

YOUR PROFILE

Personal and Social

  • Very strong communication skills (experienced in working closely with Senior Management)
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial personality, strong presentation skills
  • High motivation and drive to get things done
  • Keen to work in complex & multi-dimensional setups
  • Flair for problem-solving, ability to flesh out innovative and practical solutions

Professional and Technical

  • University degree or other higher education in Business Administration (e.g. MBA), Finance or equivalent
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Private Banking and / or Financial Services Industry or Management/Strategy Consulting
  • Proven interdisciplinary Project Management experience
  • Pricing related experience (strategic, tactical, operational) preferred
  • Excellent analytical/conceptual skills and comfortable handling large data sets
  • Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple tasks concurrently and pay meticulous attention to details
  • Fluency in English (oral/written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel

Skills Required
