The Pricing Analyst is responsible for analyzing pricing data and providing input for pricing strategies and decision-making to align with market requirements and optimize company profitability.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Create sales and pricing reports for product lines and analyze the data to develop specific required actions to ensure product pricing accuracy and alignment with profitability objectives
- Prepares work instructions and process documents related to the pricing systems and guidelines
- Gather and analyze web-based competitor pricing information and develop a system to maintain a competitive market position for Famous
- Manage pricing matrices and work with Sales on customer opportunities
- Reviews new items created in Eclipse to ensure proper coding
- Involved with managing/administration of vendor rebate programs and claim backs
- Assist with vendor cost uploads
- Plans, organizes, and controls activities related to the pricing function
- Ad hoc reporting requests as needed
